Baby Boy Nursery

Baby Boy Nursery

It’s so crazy we are a family of 5! We welcomed our sweet baby boy, Benjamin, into our family at the end of May! I was so excited to work on his nursery. We moved June into Mabel’s room and then turned June’s room into baby boy’s blue nursery!

There honestly wasn’t much to do in this room except for new paint, wallpaper, and furniture/decor!

Paint & Wallpaper

I wanted to keep all the trim work and peg shelves in this room since it’s the same in our room and the girls’ room. So we just painted the entire bottom half of the walls Gentle Gray by Benjamin Moore along with the peg shelves. After the walls were painted, we hung up this sweet blue striped wallpaper!

We have these peg shelves in all our bedrooms. I have the tutorial on how we made them here in this blog post!

DIY Closet Doors

When we first bought the house, every closet had sliding doors that barely worked. We eventually took them out and lived with curtains for a while. But I decided it was time for real closet doors!

I had the idea to make simple closet doors out of cabinet-grade plywood, and they ended up being such an easy and inexpensive solution. We cut the plywood down to size, added hinges, and painted both the doors and the inside of the closet the same color as the walls! I’m obsessed with how these turned out!

Furniture & Decor

Then, it was time for all the furniture and decor. We got his dresser from Facebook Marketplace and I stained it! Then the bookshelf I ordered off of Amazon and spray painted it. Everything is linked below!

Here’s everything we put in baby boy’s nursery!
